Pool Repair in New Jersey

Pool repair covers mechanical and structural faults that stop a swimming pool working properly: pumps, filters, heaters, plumbing and leaks, cracked walls and steps, damaged liners, and the controls that operate the system. The first step is diagnosis—finding which possible cause is the real one.

A pool that loses water may have a liner tear, leaking fitting, underground plumbing problem or ordinary evaporation. Water that will not clear can point to filtration, circulation or chemistry. Lester Pools starts by identifying the actual cause, because repairing the wrong component wastes time and money while the original problem remains.

What we repair

We diagnose and repair pumps and motors with noise, lost prime, seal or impeller problems; sand, cartridge and DE filters, including tanks and internal parts; heaters that will not fire, short-cycle or shut down; plumbing leaks in skimmer lines, returns, main drains and fittings; structural cracks, wall-panel, coping and step damage; liner tears that can be patched and liners that have reached the point of replacement; and the controls that coordinate pool equipment.

How a pool repair visit works

We inspect the pool while it is operating whenever possible and test the systems needed to isolate the fault. You receive a clear explanation of what is wrong, what the repair requires and whether the issue is urgent or can be scheduled. If a specific part must be ordered, we explain that dependency rather than promising a completion date the supply chain may not support.

Urgent and non-urgent conditions are handled differently. Rapid water loss, exposed electrical risk or a suspected heater gas leak requires prompt attention and the affected equipment should not be used. A noisy but functioning pump or a minor non-progressive issue may be suitable for planned service.

Repair or replacement

Sometimes the honest conclusion is that repair does not pay. Keeping an old single-speed pump alive with repeated parts can cost more in energy and service than an efficient replacement. A liner with several patches and another tear may also be beyond a reliable repair; that decision belongs in a proper liner replacement assessment. We explain the expected life and operating impact of each option, then support the repaired or replaced system through regular pool maintenance and equipment checks.
